St Kilda Steiner Pre-School
Our kindergarten program began in 2002 out of the initiative of a willing and hardworking group of people who wanted an early childhood education based on the teachings of Rudolf Steiner to be available to families in the bayside area of Melbourne.
We now offer a mixed-aged, play-based kindergarten program that is supported by other parent and family activities. Children attending our early childhood centre will continue their primary education in various Steiner, independent or state schools around the area. It is our policy to support parents to initiate and maintain positive communication with the school of their choice.
Although we are a relatively small kindergarten community we are strengthened and feel supported by our connections with the larger worldwide movement for Rudolf Steiner (Waldorf) education.
